![]() Example: If output from Onyx to a printer, also if saved in PDF with areas with Fading then PDF version matters depending on out put program and printer. I need to do testing to understand the full effects of this, with relation to art vs output. With so many output programs and how this is handled in the final print. The updating the type when opening past files(older versions) is scary. ![]() I have re tested this and there appears to be no issue any more. I modified this macro from Sub GDGJohn ( ) in order to convert all objects of each page into a single bitmap, but it keeps deleting all objects except those in the active page. The slider, i.e., Intensity is not present for a conversion option, i.e. Note: If we wish to view distinct parts of a picture, we can drag a picture inside the Preview window. Select any option from the list box of the Conversion method. ![]() This would make the edges clear only if you converted to bitmap first before opening in bitmap editor or else if not converting to bitmap first the choice becomes colours from a colour palette. Press Bitmaps > Mode > Black-and-White (1-bit). I was able to achieve this (in x5) by converting a JPG to bitmap => open in bitmap editor(Photo Paint) => Effects => Creative => Vignette. The Faded Edges means solid to clear around the edges. and convert to bitmap window appears with the resolution field selected. There are issues exporting with fonts in PDFs and this took care of the issue. Now I want to convert the same box to bitmap. ![]() It ends up with a white background.I have used this option to help with font issues with PDF files being opened on by others in and out of browsers. The option for Transparent Background(checked or unchecked) while converting to bitmap makes no difference. ![]()
